I'm not really a fan of modern metalcore/post-hardcore, but I have really gotten into these bands.
Issues – Mad At Myself
I really like that they are trying something different in their respective genres. And also I'm not sure if any of you have heard of Tyler, The Creator but he's really good.

I'm into Kagerou Project right now. And it's funny because I promised myself I'd never like vocaloid, but here I am, humming Children Record under my breath.
Move over for a damage case!
GUISE…I'M SCARED
I LISTENED TO A SKRILLEX REMIX…AND I LIKED IT
I LIKED A SKRILLEX REMIX…I'M SO CONFUSED…WHO AM I?…WHAT IS MY LIFE!?

@BSoD
Maybe it's because it has some non-skrillex in it?
@Grievous
It was co-remixed by Nero and he makes some okay stuff. He would have supplied the DnB elements in it and that's what I like in it.
Skrillex probably only added the chipmunk voice
Found this on a Dark Souls trolling video.
Dat banjo tho.

Anyone who thinks Stairway to Heaven is Led Zep's best song is obviously lying. Behold:
This song is damn fine, too:
And this is a guilty pleasure of mine:
EDIT: How could I forget this!?

I need more like this. Some sort of Disney-style relaxing orchestral music.Any advice?

2014 called..
@Spider-byte
Yeah.. Bravo for such comment. Just clog this thread with quotes of even more unnecessary embeds. Bravo.
@Blue Screen (of Death)

Not really. Those chipmunk voices were there at the beginning. Skrillex is probably responsible for wobble basses/mids exc.
The Group Nero is quite often like to do dubstep remixes between trance and dubstep. Both Nero and Skrillex often do remixes together, not like Skrillex have done that whole music.
Maybe you liked Nero after all, not Skrillex.
What is this? Am i here to discuss music or test my browser that how much it can handle before it crashes?
I say: lets forbid every single embeds. Even with one embed per post, 30 embed in one page still clog up browsers.
Why just not stick with hyperlinks? You guys may take your time to read other's posts after all..

Aight nerds lemme give ya some cool shit.
I found this one-man project recently. He combines classic video game / 8 bit music with a modern metal sound. This has a pretty cool sound as a result:
Sky Sanctuary – Insert Coins
Sky Sanctuary – Starlight Fortress

I've recently gotten into the Glitch Hop genre of Techno music…

You played Asphalt 8, do you?
Also, have some liquid DnB!
Asphalt 8?
Never heard of it until you posted it and I looked it up on google. Why? Is that song on there?
@BSoD
You're can be somewhat there for the music instead of the gameplay :)
There's even a playlist for it. And once you hit dubstep…
Who likes that thrash band Sailor?
Jk don't kill me please
Mothra is my Favorite
I'm a prog guy m'self; I love Rush, Pink Floyd, Yes, King Crimson, and the like. I've recently been listening to Peter Gabriel-era Genesis, and I fuckin' love it.
For instance:
A great, dynamic piece with Middle Eastern and metal tinges:
A short, peppy tune; the happiest song about suicide I've ever heard:
Please, even if you don't listen to the whole song, at least listen to the Mellotron intro; I'm not one to cry even at hearing a beautiful song, but this comes close:
The oh-so epic "Supper's Ready":
Another dynamic one:
Also: All of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is fantastic, but here's a very ambient hidden gem:

Don't know if you know, or like, them, but Van Der Graaf Generator is pretty cool too.
VDGG – The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other
VDGG – H To He, Who Am The Only One
Lately, I've been listening quite a bit to symphonic- and post-metal.
Symphonic:
Ancient Bards – To The Master Of Darkness
Fairyland – Of Wars In Osyrhia
Post-metal:
An Autumn For Crippled Children – Only The Ocean Knows
Cult Of Luna – Somewhere Along The Highway
The Ocean – Pelagial
Guys, can you please just use links, or at least only one embed per post? It's been said before, but it really slows the pages.

Ween – Zoloft
Ween – Roses Are Free
Ween – Monique The Freak
That production on "Accordion" though.
On a side note, has anyone seen that video of Lil B rapping seriously?

New artist I am looking at: Taajuus. I heard this and fell in love. Had to throw it on my wall straight away
I love a fluid techstep melody that's perfect to roll with down the highway. I love the techno-rock vibes. The drums are clear and the bass is heavy.
I especially love grimdark evil sounding music, but not music where a singer just talks the nastiest shit he can think of while shitting on religion, no I'm talking about the music itself sounding evil. Stuff like this is perfect for background listening while you I out zombie killing.
Question for you guys: What's the best music you know for killing zombies.
I'll finish this post off with EXPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSIONS
Alright, who likes early Disturbed?
@Billy Mays
I like any period Disturbed, if that counts
@BSOD
Taajuus sounds really good so far. Some parts, especially in Infection, remind me of Ratchet & Clank soundtracks. Love it.
no I’m talking about the music itself sounding evil.
I found this experimental / noise band a while ago, which has some of darkest, evilest sounding stuff I've heard yet.
Gnaw Their Tongues – In Sullen Silence Stalks Forth Pestilence
GTT – Teeth That Leer Like Open Caves
This guy can create some pretty amazing soundscapes.
Came across this band on youtube. This kind of stuff has been done before, but I love it, it's just so relaxing.
Home run.

I found…this relaxing thing…
Still only 38 on the Hot 100. It's gonna need to get higher than that if it wants to make the year-end list.

coyote kisses,

wolfgun.
dj babokon,
mitis,
sirens ceol,
EXO-K,
boards of canada.
audiostalkers,
Overclocked remix,

I've been trying to get more hardcore into my library. So far Point of No Return is a definite buy for me, and I can't decide if I should get Songs for X Girlz , Beauty Noizy Orient , Hardcore Syndrome 6 , or Radiance
I've also been hyping Want My Love by Metrik. Dat club mix
Have fun having this stuck in your head for the next week.
It's been two weeks since Death Grips have broken up and I'm still mourning over the fact I will never get to see them live. RIP Death Grips.

2014's metalcore and deathcore is saved by i killed the prom queen's beloved and carnifex' die without hope alone.
maybe i'm slowly losing sight of the non-core metal scene, but i feel like it's kinda lacking lately, i have high hopes for bloodshot dawn's new album though, of course vader's latest album is as good as ever, but it's exactly that, "another vader album". which is by no means a bad thing, and i don't expect the guys to change after doing their thing for so many years.
also looking forward to rise of the northstar (which is pretty bland beatdown hardcore, but somehow i like them).
a really great album that came out lately is egotronic: die natur ist dein feind, i'm really getting into them lately…
Iron Maiden is, by a landslide, my favorite band. I know a good number of their songs on bass, and in a sense I worship Steve Harris. My favorite song depends on what album I've listened to most recently, but this one has been in my head for a good while.
i think my favorite band is coyote kisses, i dont think anybody actually has heard of the band on here, so i'll ambassador for you
