It's a good example of how to use synthesizer and some orchestral arrangement to make a good soundtrack.

Hello, good afternoon and welcome to the second leg of the Olympic Final of the Men's Hide-and-Seek here in the heart of Britain's London.

We'll be surfing in just a couple of moments from now, and there you can see the two competitors: Francisco Huron the Paraguayan, who in this leg is the seeker, and there's the man he'll be looking for…our own Don Roberts from Hinckley in Leicestershire who, his trainer tells me, is at the height of his self-secreting form.

And now in the first leg, which ended on Wednesday, Don succeeded in finding the Paraguayan in the new world record time of 11 years, 2 months, 26 days, 9 hours, 3 minutes, 27.4 seconds, in a sweetshop in Kilmarnock. And now they're under starter's orders.

On your marks… get set…

I don't know I think the song was a bit long

-It's raining Migraine Boy, why don't come with me under my umbrella.

-I rather catch pneumonia and die!

-So you caught pneumonia and die, Migraine Boy. Are you happy?

-Yes!

Really not my thing. Lyrics are unintereting and uninspired, the synth(?) I actually almost find novelty because it sounds awful, there's really little innovation or anything interesting here. If I were to push for pros I would say the singer is alright and at least the lyrics aren't offensively bad. All of this in my opinion of course.
I'd give it a 2.5/10.
RIP my karma for giving an honest opinion

Not at all familiar with this band, but my brother sent this to me and I like it a lot.

9/10. It has a nice groove to it. I need to listen to more of her stuff.

Here's a good song to listen to on a Sunday:

I don't know Spanish so I can't really judge the lyrics, but it's got a catchy drum beat and guitar that reminds me of 90s era ska. Not something I'd listen to over and over, but certainly not bad either.

Now for one of my favorite HIM songs:

The first thing that comes to mind is that I do like the distortion's effect on the song. However, it occurs to me that the song quickly suffers from "sound-alike" syndrome – it sounds a lot like in its genre. The singer sounds a bit off tune, but I do like his voice; a lot of the notes he's singing feel… off. This seems like more of an aesthetic choice as opposed to a lack of talent, though.

Another thing this song suffers from is "not going anywhere syndrome". Most of the song sounds a lot like the rest of the song, despite a refrain in the middle. Unfortunately this doesn't really change it up too much – however, it's enough to still keep the song going. That's okay – some of the most well known songs are also like this.

Lyrically, I found it somewhat difficult to understand the song, but I did like what I heard.

Overall, it doesn't push any creative boundaries, but it's nice.

7/10.

I think this song is played outside of those fancy/V.I.P clubs, when you're outside on the line waiting to join to the party and the only thing you hear is the "unz-unz" of the music.

Honestly, I never was a big fan of Limb Biztik Linkin Park.

I really like the start of the song. I am a total sucker for music that uses sound effects, and I like the theme of time that it starts with. Kind of gives me a minor folk vibe to begin with. The moaning voice really works well with the acoustic aesthetic, it invokes a sense of loneliness. I kind of wish the voice cracked a bit, but that would be my personal choice in production – either way, it sounds great.

As the song progresses, I get more of a western vibe. The lyrics are interesting and morbid.

The woman's voice is very sweet and soft, like a breath of air. I think her voice fits better here than the man. It feels a lot lonelier, a lot more like being in the desert of the western states.

While the song "doesn't go anywhere", it doesn't really need to. It establishes a firm mood, and progresses slowly. Almost feels like a flower slowly blooming. It's very interesting.

Overall, very foreboding.

My only thing is that the music itself isn't something I could see myself coming back to. That doesn't make it a bad song though at all. It serves its purpose and it serves it well.

That percussion is really neat, the whole thing feels really otherwordly, which I really like. I also like that unconventional time signature (I think it's called? I'm not a knowledgable music person). Just a tad repetetive though, left me wanting more layers of sound to keep things interesting.

I've had a bit of an obsession with this song recently after I heard it again after many many years.

It ain't really my sorta thing, but it's inviting enough to listen to, sounding like a rock version of Ancient Egyptian music. I dig the lyre-sounding guitar coming in at 2:11, matching the Ancient Egypt vibe that the name and instruments give off.

The "slow guitar start" is something I hear often in rock songs in general, but when it transitions to the fast drums and guitar then I can imagine this as a song that'd work great in a movie or game. The guitar in the middle section (before the drums come back in) feels like an Akira Yamaoka song out of a Silent Hill game, and I like that.

7/10
Not typically what I listen to, but I thought the drum and guitar work were pretty neat. If I may be somewhat honest though, it reminds a bit of Linkin Park and for some reason MGR (specifically the song The Hot Wind is Blowing, or Khamsin's Theme). The guitar solo at the end was good.

Don't know if anyone's maybe posted this yet, but here's something:

7/10 because it has a strong "spring" feel, half-way between hippie and rock, with an enjoyable, un-corny "peace and love" message.

It had a remix by Justice, by the way. The video of this remix is quite funny, I should say.

May I take the risk to submit a song sung in French?

In case anyone wants a rather acceptable translation

I'd rate 7/10. I liked the vibe but I would've liked it more if it was an instrumental rather than having vocals with it. The beat matched the kind of stuff I like, in terms of chilled vibes.

I swap between genres a lot, I like a lot of smooth jazz, electro, rap, metal etc.
At the moment I'm listening to a lot of rap and industrial metal.

Very fond of this song. Has nice tempo, and I like the sudden addition of lyrics later on. 8/10

Did you mean this one?

The words that came to my mind while listening to this were "refreshing, powerful, warm, radiant"; this tune, which atmosphere gets easily stuck into your brain, seems to be well fitting for a morning jog on the street on a sunny winter day.

8/10! it's great

7/10 I can't think of anything else more to say about it. Just that it's Talking Heads music, what else do you expect?

Now if this song didn't change it's sound after the third verse, I would love this song, but unfortunately it gets more complex when it doesn't need to. Also the video for this is strangely morbid, so I'm not going to post it through that.

I enjoyed the lyrics, the mixture and harmony between the guitar and piano. The vocals didn't really sound natural, it sounds rather like the Bee gees. I loved how in the middle they increased the thickness of the music. Its ending sounded perfect, how it sounded like the end of a teen movie.

7/10 Nice little sing-a-long folk song

Here's a song from an album I'm listening to right now, which is one of my favorite albums of all time. First introduced to it when I was very young.

A cute piece where the lovely piano-like melody, the attractive beat, and some electro sounds in the middle, remind me of Justice's Valentine, though Valentine is sure less delicate. I give it a 7/10.

Between 2002 and 2012, a French TV channel used to broadcast a "breakfiller theme" when technical failures occured. A YouTube user did a reconstitution based on several pieces of technical failure…

The vibes I'm getting from this are both a sense of calm and foreboding. Very interesting.
