I was looking through some old comments looking for a specific picture, and my comments from yesterday (6/20/2017) and a number from the previous day (6/19/2017) were all downvoted. Is this the doing of a downvote bot?

My comments are also getting downvoted every time I post. I highly doubt a user would do a 24 hour shift on an account just to downvote someone, that sounds incredibly petty. Most moderators don't care about downvotes if it's a person who hasn't made alternate accounts because it impacts free speech apparently so I don't think there's much we can do.

Are you sure it's not just that, y'know, people don't like your posts?

Oh look it's another one of these threads. If there'a a bot account indiscriminately downvoting users and comments, it will be dealt with shortly. This is, however, almost never the case. It is far more likely that a user just doesn't like you; and doubly so for you, Mameme, since you've claimed to have this problem in ever other karma thread on the board.

You can click the big image to go to my post on the topic, where I've linked every other instance of karma discussion on KYM. I can almost guarantee anything you'd want to reply with has already been said, and a little reading won't hurt you. There is a valuable lesson to be learned about searching the forums before posting.

Ah. I was confused as I have never had such a case happen to me, in that I've had occasional downvotes for dumb things I've said, certainly, but not someone just going through my comments and downvoting everything I said. I felt it was a bot since this was the case for every comment I made in such a specific span of time, I assumed it was a bot.

unless I have a little stalker who will just sit around and wait for me to actually have some activity just to downvote it, I can assume it's a bot… not like it really matters, it's just a harmless little downvote~

Look, let's not worry about whether it's a bot's doing or some user's posts were that unfunny. How many threads are we gonna have about this? Like, I'm sure the best course of action is to make quality posts to get rid of the downvote bot paranoia. But given the apparent presence of ban evaders, that would be too much to ask.

Sometimes, it's just one's perception being skewed.
Sometimes, it's just denial, with one refusing to acknowledge our input is unwanted.
And sometimes, sometimes there really is foul play involved. And as petty, vindictive and otherwise pathetic as the one doing it would have to be for you to be right, people like that really do exist.
As Mr. banned-ex-mod tried-to-start-a-site-war-and-all-I-got-was-laughed-at proves here in that link. Is this man unstable, or just never matured past 12?

At this point i feel bad for arc. How sad must his life be that the only satisfaction that he can get from life is interacting with the site, whether those interactions be negative or positive.

Just let it go and stop replying to him. After he hits his 30s with no successes under his belt, still holding onto his grudges, and never being able to move on in life, he'll realize what a complete waste his entire life was. From there, he'll either kill himself or become the next Chris-chan. Either way, he's more than almost there already, last I heard he was like 24 or something and still nothing good to his name.
