Normally, I do not make requests. But this new user spamming a deadpool'd meme is starting to become annoying:

I'd think a suspension would be suffice, but they would most likely start spamming again once their warning gets lifted. But that call is on you, mods.

I've seen those Moonkorita images earlier. While I'm not at all familiar with the meme myself and I need to look into it, the reason why the entry page is deadpooled is because it has never been worked on and remains empty. As a consequence it is deadpooled to be ignored by the search engine. This can and will be reversed if the entry is made proper, in the meantime it keeps the related images grouped.
The volume of images makes me doubt that it's the action of a single person. But I don't know that yet so I'll ask the others and we'll evaluate if it's a legit meme or just a spam attempt.

Sure deadpool status can be revised as you said if the entry was actually being worked on but as seen here in the actual entry Moonkorita, it is still as bare bones as it was when it was first posted. The user in question has only been mass uploading images and videos to the entry while not even bothering to actually update the page itself.

I did a little bit of research and I suspect it to be a Korean meme about a shitty/creepy chikorita plush that never made waves outside of the country. If moonkomoonko happens to be a Korean user, it would make sense that they might not have a sufficient level of English to ask for editorship or reply to us (original entry creator account has deactivated). If that is just the case, then the meme's presence here is entirely valid and I will look into it further to write the best entry i can, but I don't speak a word of korean and I don't think the other active mods do either.
In the meantime I cannot advocate for any action to be taken against moonkomoonko. Not unless we find actual reason to believe there was ill will involved.

Understood. I don't mind seeing it sparingly in the new image gallery, but this user is especially dedicated in terms of non-stop uploading.

But they are most likely Korean. It would be 10:44 AM in Seoul at the time of this post and they have started their rounds of Moonkorita posting.

So, after a while of being quiet, looks like moonkomoonko resupplied on his meme payload and started spamming again albeit to a lesser extent. Methinks he knows just enough English to know we have a page about this meme he's infatuated with and will keep posting them as long as people make them.

Has anybody tried reaching out to this user (if at least, a google translated message)?

I don't think we could complain much about moonkomoonko's 'enthusiasm' in mass uploading moonkorita memes without contributing anything else if nobody bothers to actually talk to the guy.

I asked them why they were adding images to a deadpooled meme and the response was
"It shouldn't be in deadpool
I just want to make it's status to normal"

I don't think they realize spamming images isn't going to do much of anything to make a deadpooled meme not deadpooled especially since the entry in question is still just 3 lines of text.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't been quite active enough lately to start adding some proper lore to the entry but I've just DMd moonko to help clarify some things.

Again it's mostly a communication issue from what I'm seeing, but I still plan on adding something to the entry to reassure everyone that it's a legit meme and not some attempt at trolling.
