The 10 Commandments For Moderators of KnowYourMeme

1. Moderators do nothing wrong. There are many mods who insult users but this is completely fair because those users deserve it. If you insult a user and that mod dislikes the user, that mod is not expected to defend that user, but instead will help you insult them. This is good because two people disliking someone is more powerful than one, and that person definitely needs to be taught a lesson.

2. Moderators do nothing wrong. If your first post in a thread gets multiple dislikes, that moderator has the freedom to insult your thread regardless of where it is located and that means everyone else should take their lead. You definitely deserve it and the mods know better than the rules do on how to conduct themselves.

3. Moderators do nothing wrong. Even though it's a rule to be friendly, which is defined as being constructive and considerate with your posts, a moderator may break this rule at any time and side with the users if they dislike you. They know better. Moderators are clean elite descendants of Donus Christ; they ARE the rules.

4. Moderators do nothing wrong. Even if a moderator does something wrong, the word 'wrong' is immediately altered in its subjective meaning to suit that moderator's particular mood at that time. Moderators know best. Moderator moods define all that is good.

5. Moderators do nothing wrong. If you report a moderator for their misconduct then you are committing a meaningless act against the angelic descendants of Donus Christ. Meaningless, because all the mods will defense how they use their abilities against you if they don't like you. Meaningless, because mods can and will shitpost any thread you make detailing their wrongdoings. The fact is, a mod doing something wrong is impossible, so everything you say is definitely a lie.

6. Moderators do nothing wrong. The IRC does not count as part of KYM, and so the admins do not care what mods do. I have consulted with Donus Christ himself, and he has confirmed that actions against you are simply 'a joke'. And if you try to provide our almighty overlord with evidence, he will get bored and annoyed, so do not dare act in such a mocking manner toward your lord and savior of memes. He has better things to do than bother with such trivial social nonsense.

7. Moderators do nothing wrong. The IRC does not count as part of KYM, and so moderators can and will get away with anything. If the moderator dislikes you, they can ban you and say you are annoying, and regardless of what you think, they will be right if other people think you're annoying because being annoying goes against the 8th commandment. You will be kicked repeatedly and muted repeatedly and banned repeatedly if the mod feels like it, and they have no responsibility to do otherwise because they are perfect in all their judgements.

8. Moderators do nothing wrong. If you are considered annoying, this is all the excuse moderators need to openly reign hate upon you and use their powers against you in IRC or in KYM. If you send too many messages complaining about such issues they will deem you annoying and automatically assume you are wrong because you must be. If you say a mod is wrong you will be deemed annoying and they are correct in doing so. If you speak out against anything that the community likes, the mod will deem you annoying and you will deserve your punishment. Being annoying is not subjective if a mod says it, because the mods are the core definition of all truths within KnowYourMeme regardless of what you think or believe.

9. Moderators do nothing wrong. If you site someone breaking a rule and the mod likes that person, they will not be punished because people that mods like are automatically blessed descendants of the mods. Only people mods dislike can be punished. Anyone a mod likes is invulnerable to any and all criticisms and can never have a punishment. Liking someone is a mod's way of saying 'you're better than everyone else and deserve to never suffer like they deserve to' and you should feel blessed if one of them likes you. Then you are free to act horribly to people you dislike without punishment because a mod likes you and if the mod dislikes that person too, you can get them to even help you hurt them.

10. Moderators do nothing wrong. You should not ever post an idea that is different or innovative or fear the wrath of the mods. Mods need to see more and more of the same because they live on a steady diet of repetitive memes. If your ideas benefits the site, a mod will have the freedom to hate your idea because you should never expect an admin to actually use your idea or even acknowledge it and mods understand this. Mods know everything about coding and understand how difficult it is to do anything in code at all ever so never ask for a better site feature or a new one. Never post an idea that's different or mods will have every right to reign unrelated hate upon your thread without ceasing.

Ah, finally, Eypc Wyn sees the light. I'll take this thread as an apology. I trust we won't have any more issues then. Can one of you mods with more power than me add these to the official KYM rules please? I double checked, and these actually aren't spelled out in the current rules. Go figure. We want to make sure everyone knows about this. Should probably send warnings to anyone who might have violated any of these from now back to the RocketBoom days, just to make sure they know.

And this behavior is why the mods do not deserve their titles. You can dislike my ideas but if you’re going to promote insults and hate, regardless of what admins allow, you should not be a mod.

This behavior has also ensured that people will be much more hesitant to post ideas because of the backlash I get for posting them.

It's a scientific fact that mods are not that great, (the one exception to this being Particle Mare)however the mods will never ever be complete dumbfucks like epyc wyn.

The mods do make mistakes

They can be mean

They can be unfair

But, Mods are supposed to keep things under control.

And that's what they do.

And really, they should treated with SOME amount of respect
