About

Choo-Choo Charles is a 2022 Mascot Horror video game developed by Two Star Games. The player is a monster-hunting archivist who comes to an island to defeat a spider-train hybrid monster named Charles.

History

On October 1st, 2021, Two Star Games[1] uploaded to YouTube an Announcement Trailer[2], gaining over 4.7 Million views in a year (shown below, left). On October 21st, 2021, Two Star Games uploaded a video[3] talking about the game, gaining over 721,049 views in a year (shown below, right).



Between late 2021 and early 2022, Two Star Games uploaded many videos on YouTube. For example, on January 16th, 2022, Two Star Games uploaded a video[4] that added a cult to Choo-Choo Charles, gaining over 2.3 million views in 11 months (shown below, left). On October 8th, 2022, Two Star Games uploaded a release date trailer[5] announcing Choo-Choo Charles would launch on Steam on December 9th,[6] gaining over 3.6 million views in 2 months (shown below, right).



Online Presence

Choo-Choo Charles became popular on YouTube[7][8] in Let's Play videos. On December 11th, YouTuber Markiplier played the game in a 2-hour live stream, gaining 8.1 million views in 2 weeks (shown below, left). On December 9th, Youtuber CoryxKenshin played the game, gaining 8.3 million views in 2 weeks (shown below, right).
