A Group Where We All Pretend To X refers to role playing group that was created on Facebook, where the members of it pretending became or doing something.

Origin

On April, 15th 2020, a Twitter user @agasramirez[1] uploaded screenshots of a Facebook group named "A Group Where We All Pretended To Be Ants In An Ant Colony" and it's activities where the members of the group was pretended became an ant with caption "Quarantine Day 31: I joined a Facebook group where we all pretend to be ants in an ant colony". The tweet was received more than 137.500 retweets and 532.000 likes (Shown below).

After a few days later, many Facebook users creating group using same reference, pretending became something in the group. For example on April, 18th 2020, Facebook User DaRuddest Jones[2] uploaded many screenshots of Facebook Groups with same reference, with caption

Ok. So I was bored and ended up in the abyss of Facebook and there is an entire subculture that I’m sure most of us didn’t know about.
Bruh.
It’s wild in these FB streets. Lol. And yes… Yes I have joined some groups. Becuse you know, quarantined! 🤣🤣🤣
