AI Podcast Dubs refers to a trend where internet users use AI voice technology, such as Eleven Labs to create digitally dubbed versions of podcasts. In November 2023, dubbed versions of the Cum Town spin-off The Adam Friedland Show were shared on TikTok and X.

Origin

On February 22nd, 2023, TikToker @gangstasportivik posted the earliest known edits of The Adam Friedland Show to TikTok, dubbing an episode featuring Douglas Levison a.k.a. "Trumpeter Guy."^[1]

The clips were dubbed into Chinese (seen below, left),^[2] Jamaican English (seen below, right),^[3] Chinese,^[4] Japanese,^[5] French,^[6] and Spanish.^[7]

On November 2nd, @gangstasportivik posted a video to their X^[8] (formerly Twitter) account @BertChintez with the caption, "来自《红色恐慌》播客的安娜和达莎加入亚当在工作室里聊天" which translates to "Anna and Dasha from The Red Scare Podcast join Adam for a chat in the studio." The post gathered over 2,000 likes in a month (seen below)
