The Adam Friedland Show refers to a podcast and talk show hosted by Adam Friedland, formerly of Cum Town. The show is produced and co-hosted by fellow comedian and Cum Town host Nick Mullen. The podcast premiered on YouTube in August 2022, featuring various guest stars including Trumpet Guy Douglas Levison and The 1975 lead singer Matty Healy. The show came under renewed media interest in mid-February 2023 after some fans of The 1975 denounced Healy's and Friedland's statements on the show, perceiving them as sexist, racist and homophobic.
History
On July 9th, 2022, Cum Town co-host Nick Mullen first posted a tweet about The Adam Friedland Show, a podcast he co-hosts and produces. The post gathered over 11,000 likes in nearly seven months (seen below).
Adam Friedland is a comedian and podcaster based in New York. He is best known as the co-host of the podcast "Cum Town", which he participated in alongside Nick Mullen and Stavros Halkias. After Stavros's exit from Cum Town, Friedland and Mullen launched its spin-off, the Adam Friedland Show.[1]
The first episode of the podcast, titled "The Adam Friedland Show Ep. X012 | Cumtown," was posted to the YouTube[2] channel "TAFS: Creamium Town," on August 9th, 2022, where it gathered over 100,000 views in nearly six months (seen below).
On September 25th, 2022, the YouTube[9] channel "The AFS: Film Reviews" posted its first video, titled, "Stavros Halkias watches NBA Finals with Nick Mullen, Adam Friedland, Dasha." The upload gathered over 21,000 views in over four months.
The podcast also hosts clips from various interviews and segments on the YouTube[3] channel "The Adam Friedland Show," with the earliest video on the channel, "The Adam Friedland Show Episode 102," being posted on November 3rd, 2022, gathering over 142,000 views in nearly four months (seen below).
On December 14th, 2022, Twitter user @realonlineboy posted a clip[4] from an episode of The Adam Friedland Show, saying, "My first video for The Adam Friedland Show came out today. I hope you enjoy." The clip was a parody of a video uploaded by the "Central Intelligence Agency's" official YouTube channel, titled, "Humans of CIA."[5] The tweet gathered nearly 7,000 likes in two months (seen below) and received mixed reviews, with some commending its satirization of the CIA's supposed efforts to appear inclusive and diverse, and others deriding its supposed racial insensitivity.

On January 23rd, 2023, The Adam Friedland Show[6] YouTube channel posted a clip featuring Friedland interviewing "Trumpter Guy," in an upload that gathered over 9,000 views in over a month (seen below).

The YouTube channel The Adam Friedland Show has over 51,000 subscribers, TAFS: Cremium Town has over 38,000 subscribers, and The AFS: Film Reviews has over 500 subscribers as of February 2023.
Matty Healy Guest Appearance
In February 2023, Cum Town and The Adam Friedland Show came under renewed public interest after they hosted Matty Healy, lead singer of the band The 1975. Some of Healy's younger and primarily female fans, seemingly unfamiliar with Friedland and Mullen's "center-left" stance and style of comedy, perceived some of the comments on the show as politically incorrect. Many of these fans vocally expressed surprise following the podcast appearance and stated they were opposed to various statements made by Healy and Friedland on the episode. The interview was posted to the channel TAFS: Creamium Town[7] on February 10th, 2023, where it gathered over 63,000 views in two days (seen below).
On February 10th, 2023, Twitter[8] user @UsingCigarettes posted a series of screenshots of Healy's fans taking offense to Healy and Friedland's statements on the podcast, noting that the episode was likely the fan's first introduction to Cum Town. The post gathered over 12,000 likes in two days (seen below).

Chris Cuomo Appearance
On June 14th, 2023, The Adam Friedland Show hosted Chris Cuomo,[10] a television anchor and brother to Andrew Cuomo, the former New York State Governor. The upload gathered over 190,000 views in a day (seen below).
On June 15th, Twitter[11] user @funnierhandle posted a clip from the interview alongside the caption, "had no idea Adam Friedland would be this good of an interviewer lmao," gathering over 8,000 likes in a day (seen below).
