About

Alright Bro Goodnight, continued Oh Shoot, I Forgot To Get My Water, refers to a viral skit trend on TikTok where one person in a hotel bed says goodnight to another person in a bed beside them, then turns away to sleep. A moment later they turn back around, saying that they forgot their water. When they turn back around, the second person is then up and doing something strange other than sleeping. The first video was posted in July 2021, and its original sound became more widespread later that year, inspiring over 40,000 videos in three months.

Origin

On July 23rd, 2021, TikToker[1] @22urdumaf posted a video where he and another man are laying in separate side-by-side beds in a hotel room. After a few moments, the camera operator says, "alright, oh shoot I forgot to get my water" and turns back around to see his friend standing on the other bed in only his underwear, looking toward the hotel door (shown below).
