About
"Aqui No Ônibus Não Se Fala Em Outra Coisa" or "Não Se Fala Em Outra Coisa" (Eng. It's all we are talking about on the bus) is a Portuguese phrase associated with stories posted online, typically on Twitter, in which someone responds sarcastically to a post that is not actually relevant, sharing pictures of a crowded bus, suggesting everyone in there is commenting on the person's tweet. The line is often to express indifference or banter, similar to the catchphrase "And then the whole bus clapped."
Origin
The exact origin of this phrase is unclear. However, the earliest known example of a post featuring crowded bus passengers was posted on March 13th, 2023 by Twitter[1] user @i6run. The post is a response to a tweet gossiping about virtual influencers, to which the user sarcastically uploads a picture of a local bus filled with passengers with a caption in Portuguese reading "It's all we are talking about on the bus." The tweet gained over 9,178 likes and 220 retweets in three weeks (seen below).

Spread
Over the course of March 2023, more users started to utilize the phrase as a sarcastic response to posts on the platform. For example, a tweet posted on March 24th by @choquei on Twitter[2][3] about two Brazilian subcelebrities was responded to by user @rafamaxxz with a picture of the local bus of his hometown filled with passengers and the caption "here on the bus in Itaquaquecetuba – SP, we [only] talk about [this and] nothing else." The post received 12,500 likes and 380 retweets in a day (seen below).
The trend also features other public transportation posts, like one Twitter[4] user @bfr_kaickul shared on March 14th, 2023, showing a picture of a train filled with passengers to mock another user's tweet. The post garnered 4,571 likes and 300 retweets in three weeks (seen below).
