There have currently been only two threads about AssholeDad so far (thought lulzy as they are) and have been populated by eager 4channers making copies of him, from the highly creative OP's original post.

It is about a "Dad" who is an "Asshole".
He is a notorious cheapskate who is not willing to pay for his children's toys, bus fare, cinema tickets and video games, and is famous for his intolerance towards homosexuality, video games and excessive expenditure.
He is a fan of sports, and wishes his children would recipricate his passion, but is dissappointed to find that all they are interested in is video games, slacking off and being a typical teenager in general.

I think we can see a lot of "AssholeDad" in ourselves, and in our parents (most typically, our fathers).
Though I think we can all agree, the meme is quite funny.
It has been received well by the denizens of 4chan, and its "random" board /b/.
