About

"Behold! The One Commandment" is a memorable quote uttered by the character Malachi on the American animated series Futurama. Online, many use a screenshot of Malachi holding up the stone tablet from the scene as an exploitable, replacing the text with various other opinions (similar to Lisa Simpson's Presentation).

Origin

On March 17th, 2002, the Futurama episode "Godfellas" aired in the United States. In the episode, a race of humanoid creatures called the Shrimpkins mistake the robot character Bender for a god. At one point, Bender delivers the Shrimpkins a stone tablet with one commandment written on it. The tablet reads, "God Needs Booze" (clip below).[1]
