Bora Toma Uma refers to a viral video popular in Brazil of Sid of the franchise Ice Age dancing to the song Bora Tomar Uma with a woman saying "Mais Não Vai Não."

Origin

On June 15th, 2012, a promotional video for the movie Ice Age 4 was uploaded to YouTube with Sid dancing, receiving over 65,800,000 views and 264,000 likes in 10 years (shown below, left).[2] On December 18th, 2017, the YouTube user Gecilda Alves uploaded the first known video of Leo Diná saying "Bora tomar uma, Ele não vai não" with a voice similar to Sid's,
receiving over 1,600,000 views and 9,800 likes in 5 years (shown below, right).[3] The original song is unknown.

On February 3rd, 2018, YouTube user Gabriel Barbosa uploaded the original video titled "Bora tomar uma Ele nún vai não," receiving over 124,000 views and 5,800 likes in 5 years (shown below).[1]

On December, 14th, 2022, TikTok user @felipaodamassa2006 uploaded a video comparing the original video to a 4K video of the meme, receiving over 859,000 views and 27,600 likes in almost 3 months(shown below).[4]
