Man, arena fps games are so frustrating. I can never kill anyone and the weapon I start out with freaking sucks. Everyone else is running around with rockets or that cheap laser gun and instantly kills me. I'm pretty sure most people are hacking too. Hey bud. Most would concur that the primary axiom of AFPS is that resource management is paramount to achieve success in the arena. A common error that plagues neophytes and hampers their chance of success is an overall avarice for frags, when in fact it is crucial to instead err on the side of self- preservation when deciding to engage an opponent. Thus, an overall meta of item control is established as health and armor are the only limiting factors given that both opponents are equally equipped. I think my bro has laid important groundwork with his statement but l'd be remiss if I didn't bring up movement in any capacity. Many novice players struggle finding enjoyment in AFPS because they have yet to even be exposed to such concepts as Strafe Jumping, Circle Jumping, or any other principles of air strafing derived from the design lineage of the first Quake title. Hi guys, I've noticed that it is International Men's Day today, and I'm confused. Why do we need a day to talk about men? We're not a marginalised group like women, queer people, or people of colour. The media is already full of stories about men. I'm glad you asked, champ. Whatever your view on men's place in society, it's still true that we face a lot of issues - like social isolation, risk of suicide, health problems, and attitudes towards sex and child rearing. Having a day to talk about those doesn't take away from anyone else's problems. In fact, having a day to talk about them helps us be more mindful, and listen better at other times. The chief here is really on to something. I want to echo what he said, and also point out that the idea we should remain silent about our problems actually contributes to a lot of our issues. We are human beings, with human needs. Seeking mutual support and understanding isn't the same thing as placing a burden on others. Especially if we're providing it for each other. Right on, my fellow kings. We've inherited a social legacy of competition and division, and a lot of what makes a man in our era is under question. Hey fellas, I hear alot |of calls for abolish- ing police. But how will we stay safe? King, police abolition work is not about de- funding every department instantly. It's about a gradual process of strategically reallocating resources, funding, and responsibility away from police and toward community-based models of safety, support, and prevention. The people who respond to crises in our community should be people who are best-equipped to deal with those crises. Friend, I want to echo that last statement and dig down a little further. Crime isn't random. Most of the time, it happens when someone has been unable to meet their basic needs through other means. By shifting money away from police and toward services that actually meet those needs, we'll be able to get to a place where we won't need to rob banks. Couldn't have said it better myself, King! This is bigger than just police brutality; it's about how the prison industrial complex, the drug war, immigration law, and the web of policy, law, and culture that forms our criminal justice system has destroyed millions of lives, and torn apart families. Hey guys I always watch action shows but I was wondering if I should give SoL animes a try. Good idea bro, I personally love SoL shows with their slower focus on normal everyday lives of people and the problems they face. It provides a nice balance to the high octane, constant energy of action shows. I totally agree bro. Shows like these capture the various aspects of human relations and how humans can connect with others on various levels based on various circumstances and experiences. I too watch SoL especially when I want to get in touch with my own emotions and want to watch something that leaves me with a kind of sweet sadness when it ends. The sadness comes because you connect with the characters over the duration of the show and are left a little empty when it ends, like when you say goodbye to an old friend.
