Characters Biting Finger Pose refers to drawing of index finger that used for finger biting pose. It gained popular on Twitter / X in early June 2024 by adding it to some POV fan art as if the characters has been biting the viewer's finger. Sometimes also used as poking other body parts.

Origin

On June 11th, 2024, Twitter / X^[1] user @mochimochi_kemo uploaded a drawing of an arm with index finger pointing with caption roughly translate as "Material for those who want to be sweetly bitten by their guesses." The post received more than 10,700 reposts and 97,200 likes in three days (shown below).

Spread

Days later, the image gained popular among artists on Twitter / X as they are drawing POV of some characters biting the viewer's finger. For example on June 12th, 2024, Twitter / X^[2] user @utsusemiSANROKU uploaded Hololive VTuber Nakiri Ayame fan art that received more than 1,100 reposts and 12,400 likes in two days (shown below, left). On the next day, Twitter / X^[3] user @Honi1010 uploaded fan art of Iochi Mari kid version from Blue Archive that received more than 1,800 reposts and 13,900 likes in one day (shown below, right).

It was also used to touch or poking other body parts. For example on June 13th, 2024, Twitter / X^[4] user @jasonbrod3 uploaded fan art of Blue Archive character as if the viewer poking her back. The post received more than 2,400 reposts and 26,400 likes in one day (shown below).
