On November 24th, 2024, X[1] user @BonerWizard posted a picture from an art Facebook group they are in, showing eight paintings made by a "guy who loves to paint his chesty wife," as the user described. The tweet (seen below) amassed over 7 million views and 103,000 likes in two days.
Spread
The chesty wife paintings quickly gained viral attention on X in the next few days, inspiring users to investigate more about the paintings while also creating photoshopped edits and memes. For example, on November 25th, 2024, X[2] user @focusfronting posted a picture found by a netizen showing the real-life wife staring at the paintings made by her husband, writing "someone found this pic of her and quite frankly he’s not even doing them justice." The post (seen below) received over 5.7 million views and 211,000 likes in a day.
On November 25th, 2024, X[3] user @SaintRPh edited the chesty wife painting into a picture from the September 11th, 2001 Attacks, which received roughly 1,800 views and 53 likes in a day.
