About

Clone High Redraws refers to redraws based on promotional art for the 2002 animated series Clone High in which characters from other media properties are illustrated in the style of the show, typically maintaining the characters' poses from the promotional image. Initially appearing in 2020, the format later surged in popularity following the release of season 2 of Clone High in May of 2023.

Origin

On November 2, 2002, MTV aired Clone High, an animated series about teenage cloned historical figures attending high school.[1] A piece of promotional art features the primary characters of the series, which includes depictions of real historical figures as teenagers; Abraham Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Mahatma Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, and Cleopatra; and two characters original to the series; Principal Scudworth and his robot assistant Mr. Butlertron (shown below). The earliest known date of said promotional art found online was on May 3rd, 2003[2].
