The phrase "Rest in peace" (abbv. R.I.P., RIP or R.I.P) is a catchphrase, used in all religions, even as far as Roman Catholics for wishing there souls after death. It's main phrase they was used in gravestones often abbreviated "R.I.P." it came from the Latin word "Requiescat in pace" which means "may he/she resting in peace". The phrase and abbreviated was used, those similar versions were R.I.P. Headphone Users and RIP in Peace

Rest in peace began in the 8th century BC, when there came from those deaths, there was no used, gravestone are some material, used in some places. When the original religions were, Romans, Islams, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Chinese Catholics. They used to say "R.I.P." which is used. Requiescat in pace was used. In that time, Requiescat in pace was used in some religions, from the word "Requiescat in pace" which means "May he/she resting in peace"
