About
Day 1 Without Sports refers to a series of quarantine log parodies on Twitter due to the suspension of all sporting events due to the Coronavirus in March 2020. The tweets typically include the number of days the person has been without sports and a comedic antidote about what they've been doing instead.

On March 11th, 2020, Twitter user @just_call_me_z uploaded a GIF of Dave Chapelle playing his character Tyrone Biggums with the caption, "Me on Day 1 without any sports 😫" (shown below).

On March 13th, 2020, Twitter user @IsoJoeJR[1] posted, "Day 2 without sports: Found a young lady sitting on my couch yesterday. Apparently she’s my wife. She seems nice" (shown below, left). The tweet garnered over 291,500 likes and 51,700 retweets in four days. The next day, @NFL_Memes[2] tweeted, "Day 3 without sports…Drove to the airport to watch planes land just to see some touchdown" (shown below, right). The tweet received over 22,100 likes and 3,800 retweets in three days.
On March 14th, Twitter user @keddie44 uploaded a video of marble racing with the caption, "Day 3 Without Sports: I have fully convinced myself that marble racing is the sport of the future" (shown below). The tweet gained over 62,900 likes and 23,100 retweets in three days.

On March 15th, Twitter user @BowlBol tweeted, "day 4 without sports….i was so bored i let this mf david aldridge finish what he was saying" and received over 7,300 likes and 1,000 retweets in two days. PopCulture[3] published a list of tweets regarding days withouth sports.
