Dick Sucking Factory is a fictional place of employment used as the punchline in jokes primarily on Twitter. Oftentimes, jokes will find tweeters characterizing themselves as being thankful for their tough but rewarding work at the Dick Sucking Factory.

Origin

The earliest known tweet to use the phrase "dick sucking factory" was posted on February 11th, 2010 by user @djraym92 (shown below).^[1]

On June 8th, 2011, the phrase was used in a Zero Punctuation review of The Witcher 2 (shown below).

Though the phrase had appeared online prior to 2012, the popularization of the phrase "dick sucking factory" can be attributed to Twitter user @degg, who between 2012 and 2016, sent numerous tweets referencing the dick sucking factory^[2] (examples^[3][4] shown below).

Spread

Over the following nine years, the phrase "dick sucking factory" became a particularly popular punchline among Weird Twitter users. On October 10th, 2017, Twitter user @davedittel^[5] joked, "lost my job at the dick sucking factory due to layoffs after ass eating disrupted the industry, my family is desperate and dying," gaining over 490 retweets and 2,700 likes (shown below, left). On July 8th, 2018, user @notviking^[6] joked, "i don’t know why everyone is complaining about unpaid internships. i absolutely love my unpaid internship at the dick sucking factory, it’s giving me some real-world experience i couldn’t get anywhere else," gaining over 130 retweets and 1,500 likes (shown below, right).

In April of 2019, a video of an "automated sperm extractor" developed by a Chinese company went viral online.^[7] This led to several jokes about how the jobs at the "dick sucking factory" were being automated (examples^[8][9] shown below).
