DJ Octavio is a character from Splatoon. He serves as the main antagonist for the single player mode and final boss of both games. He's the leader of the Octarians.

Origin

DJ Octavio first appeared in the video game Splatoon as the final boss of the single player mode. In which was responsible for kidnapping the Great Zappfish. He later returns on Splatoon 2, in which kidnapped and brainwashed Callie (from the Squid Sisters) to serve his own goals.

On May 28th, 2015 a page for DJ Octavio was created on the Splatoon wiki.^[1] On May 14th, 2017, YouTube user
LizzietheRatcicle15^[2] uploaded a video depicting DJ Octavio being freed from prision after changing his ways. Later, on December 5th, 2018, TJ Studio^[3] uploaded a parody of the Is Mayonnaise an Instrument? meme, in which depicts Octavio answering the same question, made by a Octarian.
