Drop Dance or Dream Feet Dance Challenge refers to a short dance performed by various users on TikTok to musical artist Sub Urban's song "Cradles" that involves jumpstyle dance moves.

Origin

On January 5th, 2019, the song "Cradles" by artist Sub Urban was released by NoCopyrightSounds. A Youtube upload by promotion channel CloudKid was posted the same day which accumulated over 12.5 million views and 324,000 likes in four months (shown below).

On April 16th, TikTok user @Ro-han uploaded an original jumpstyle dance to the song (shown below). The video gained over 834,300 likes and 254,800 shares in a month.

Spread

The sound clip "Su Urban- Cradles" has been used in over 995,100 videos as of May 1st, 2019. Most of the videos were attempts at the drop dance. On April 18th, 2019, Top Best TikTok uploaded the most popular Drop Dance Compilation (shown below). The video garnered 112,300 views and 2,100 likes in two weeks.

Following the compilation video some of the most popular attempts were uploaded to TikTok. On April 20th, TikTok user @regan.and.sutton uploaded their drop dance which gained over 303,800 likes and 31,100 shares in two weeks (shown below, left). On April 21st, TikTok user @giuliana5678 garnered over 145,200 likes and 8,900 shares for her attempt (shown below, right).
