EDP445's "Do You See Me Laughing" refers to a short clip of YouTuber EDP445 holding a long smile while making his eyes bulge before proceeding to have a rant about Xbox One gaming console. Online, the clip gained popularity in edits and as a reaction, particularly on Instagram.
Origin
On July 3rd, 2018, YouTuber EDP445 uploaded a video titled "Xbox one…WHAT THE FUCK BRO!!!??!!!!!!," with the video accumulating over 96,000 views in one year.[1] At 1:54 mark, EDP445 makes his eyes bulge and smiles, proceeding to criticize Xbox One gaming console after holding the expression for approximately four seconds.

In March 2019, the video has gained popularity as a reaction on Twitter and Instagram. For example, on March 19th, Instagram user sageswrld posted a meme based on the clip, with the post receiving over 9,000 views and 2,200 likes in five months (shown below).[2] A March 21st repost of the video gained over 57,700 views and 6,500 likes in the same period.[3]
In the following months, more memes based on the clip were posted, including videos in which various songs have been added, with the moment of EDP445 beginning his rant coinciding with a drop in the accompanying composition.
