On or around September 14th, 2024, streamer Ellysa Yagho went live on Twitch.[1] At one point during the stream, she talked about an acting class while attempting to put a wig on her head, which kept falling off. Frustrated, Yagho yelled, "Get on my head!" and then sang the same phrase while smacking her microphone. The clip was posted by the unofficial Ellysa Yagho clip TikToker[2] @not_ellysa that day, garnering over 35.1 million views in a month.

On October 5th, TikToker[4] @gabrielabee posted a video in which she used the audio to express her frustrations over her hair not cooperating with her, garnering over 29.1 million views in four days.
On October 7th, 2024, TikToker[5] @emo.shartt posted a video remixing the song by making it the intro to the Lady Gaga song "Poker Face," garnering over 2 million views in two days.
