Ellysa Yagho "Get On My Head!" refers to a viral video of streamer Ellysa Yagho trying to put a wig on during a Twitch stream only for it to fall off, resulting in her yelling, "Get on my head," and then singing, "Get on my head," while smacking the microphone, causing significant noise and distortion. The stream took place in mid-September 2024 and the specific moment was clipped that month. In October 2024, the clip became the subject of memes and skits online, particularly on TikTok, where it inspired edits, animations and lip dubs in which TikTokers use the sound alongside captions about something that frustrates them.

On or around September 14th, 2024, streamer Ellysa Yagho went live on Twitch.[1] At one point during the stream, she talked about an acting class while attempting to put a wig on her head, which kept falling off. Frustrated, Yagho yelled, "Get on my head!" and then sang the same phrase while smacking her microphone. The clip was posted by the unofficial Ellysa Yagho clip TikToker[2] @not_ellysa that day, garnering over 35.1 million views in a month.

The majority of the most viral videos that use the sound are lip dubs in which the audio is used by TikTokers to comedically express frustration over a given subject, typically expressed via a caption.
For example, on October 2nd, 2024, TikToker[3] @mollysspam270 posted a video using the sound to express frustration over science class "becoming second math class," garnering over 9 million views in a week.

On October 5th, TikToker[4] @gabrielabee posted a video in which she used the audio to express her frustrations over her hair not cooperating with her, garnering over 29.1 million views in four days.
On October 7th, 2024, TikToker[5] @emo.shartt posted a video remixing the song by making it the intro to the Lady Gaga song "Poker Face," garnering over 2 million views in two days.
