Eminem Fortnite Skin refers to memes and jokes about rapper Eminem appearing in the multiplayer video game Fortnite as a wearable skin. Many jokes about Eminem's Fortnite appearance revolved around his release during the same timeframe as the game's apocalyptic end-of-season Big Bang event, with internet users joking about Eminem rapping while the in-game world collapses.
Origin
Fortnite's "The Big Bang" event is set to take place on December 2nd, 2023, concluding the game's fourth chapter. Data miners uncovered and leaked Eminem's various in-game skins on November 21st, revealing an Eminem title card that shows him in the middle of the apocalyptic event. According to Forbes,[1] the Eminem performance will likely be accompanied by a LEGO partnership, Rhythm Mode and Racing Mode.
X users @FNBRintel[2] and @iFireMonkey[3] were some of the first to share images from the leak, posting early on November 21st, 2023, and gathering over 13,000 and 19,000 likes each (seen below).
Also on November 21st, Eminem posted a trailer promoting the event on his X[4] profile, gathering over 76,000 likes in a day (seen below).

Over the following days, various X[5] users made jokes about how Eminem would behave during the in-game apocalyptic event, with X user @SarahTheKitty7 posting a joke on November 22nd, 2023, in reference to the Eminem Throwing Things meme (seen below, left). On November 21st, X[6] user @ilylaciii posted a meme about Eminem being responsible for the in-game apocalypse, gathering over 23,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).
Also on November 21st, X[7] user @TheSnipersHat posted a similar joke that gathered over 10,000 likes in a day (seen below).
