About

Fortnite Music Blocks are a gameplay feature in the online multiplayer game Fortnite available in Creative Mode. When activated by a player, the blocks produce a specific music tone in a similar fashion to Minecraft's note block. Since the addition to the game, the feature has been used by players to recreate popular songs and compose original music in the game.

Origin

On January 29th, 2019, game developer Epic Games released update 7.30[1] for its online multiplayer game Fortnite. The updated introduced several additions for the Fortnite Creative Mode, including a new item category named Music Blocks.
