On August 1st, 2009, Youtube user KaptaanHindustan uploaded "Foolish Pakistani student, Mullah Katl ud Din, breaks electrical door displaying extreme stupidity."

The video went viral very quickly, and won a number of Youtube awards in India.

KaptaanHindustan's profile states:

We will not tolerate any bloodshed or intimidation in the name of religion. We protect all religious faiths.

Despite that, the profile features a large collection of videos that are derogatory to Pakistanis in general. The rest of the collection is not nearly as popular as this video. The appeal here, is that regardless of the man's nationality, he executes an epic automatic door fail.

That night, at 6:40 PM, Sean Fallon reblogged the Digg thread onto Gizmodo.com with the title Engineering Student takes on Electrical Door, Loses

On August 16th, EpicFail.com upload a version of the video with their watermark onto a href=https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xa6mu5_automatic-door-fail_fun>DailyMotion.com and embedded the video on EpicFail.com with the title Automatic Door Fail.

On August 17th, Failblog.com posted their own version of the video, with the audio stripped, and their watermark in the corner.
