Eu Amo Pau Grande refers to a city letter sign of a small district in Brazil also known as Pau Grande, which can be translated to "big dick" in English. The sign, which reads "Eu Amo Pau Grande" ("I love big dick" in English) installed on July 21st, 2022, went viral on social media generating memes and reactions, especially on Twitter.
Origin
In the same style as other big cities in the world like Amsterdam, Toronto and São Paulo, a small city in Brazil, Magé, put together the slogan "Eu Amo Pau Grande" (I Love Big Dick) on July 21st, 2022. The city is known for being the birthplace of the famous soccer player Garrincha.[1]
Spread
After installing the letter sign, the city council Twitter[2] account shared the new touristic spot with the public through a POV video showing their love for the city. The post received 8,000 views in the week after it was uploaded on July 22nd, 2022.

People who live in the district also posted pictures of the letter sign, like @WillBlackmusic, who reported he was ready for the jokes the town would receive because of the sign. His tweet, from July 21st, 2022, received over 107,000 likes in two weeks.[3]
A local TikTok influencer, @valcirpinheirojr, also shared the news on his account, celebrating the lettering and inviting people to visit the sign. The post, from July 24th, 2022, reached 19,000 views and 1,600 likes in five days.[4]
