Bicha Muda (also spelled Bixa Muda) is the name of a mysterious Brazilian, supposedly mute transsexual, who has appeared in several videos on Youtube. There are also numerous remixes and reenactments of the original video. His/her real name is Mudinha do Juazeiro.
It not known why Bicha Muda is shown in the videos, which seem to be fragments from a tv show.
The gibberish she speaks is interpreted by most english-speaking people as a continuous repetition of "I'm burning!", or "Egg Burger!".

Meaning

"Bicha" is an offensive word for a homosexual male in Brazilian Portuguese. It is rumored in youtube comments that "Muda" means "mute" in Brazilian Portugese, altough it also means "changes". If "Bicha Muda" was to mean "Mute Fag", that would be rather remarkable because he/she is spoken to by this name as if it were her real name.

Origin

The original video was uploaded on youtube on October 22, 2008 ^[2]. It shows Bicha Muda in an interview with a certain Marleide Duarte. In the original video, a comment was posted with subtitles for the video:

In 2010, the video went viral and was viewed over a 1,000,000 times. Ever since, more videos popped up showing Bicha Muda. Nevertheless, none of these were viewed as many times as the first video.
