This isn't the first time that this has happened in LA but where he lived this time would be quite the difficult place to force an eviction given that it's Skid Row adjacent and his apartment was connected to the Cecil Hotel (just to give some perspective and context of occupants and neighborhood). His alcohol and drug abuse has definitely accelerated in the 2 years but it's unclear if it would be judged as "much worse" at other points of his life or "on par". The other challenge is he's effectively out of money. He has sporadic sources of income through residuals and gigs (i.e. he did a s--- standup show in Venice a few weeks ago) but because he's basically un-hireable he's relying on alternative income streams and appears to have gotten more desperate on how to exploit these options. Cameo is the more traditional one which he has admitted isn't doing much, he attempted a GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/f/uwpr3s) but the other which he has fallen deeper into is the sub-culture of "IRL streamers". Imagine everyone who wants to be famous in Hollywood but due to no talent, direction, or even a moral compass they resort to really low grade YouTube/Twitch content that more or less feeds off of fake internet drama and "risky" situational content to drive engagement, anger, and news. It also attracts a cess pool of sorts of people and personalities, the type that walk out on dinner bills, throw up in Ubers and blame the driver, record homeless people, and oh you know, take advantage of people in any way possible, because the worlds revolves around them -- hence why they stream. Enter "wappy flanker" or more specifically his friend Elisa Jordana. Andy D--- was "engaged" to Elisa years ago but if you have paid any attention to their relationship in its entirety she used Andy largely as a publicity stunt as a way to gain credibility and notoriety in Hollywood (yes, this woman is so delusional with her head stuck so far up her ass she thought Andy D--- was a good avenue for that). She attempted to do the same thing to Benji Bronk, a producer on the Howard Stern Show, years ago in New York as a means to get on-air time and mentions on Howard Stern again as to become a "socialite" and part of the staff. She self proclaims she was a producer on Howard Stern Show (which she wasn't) but Howard quickly saw how she was using and manipulating Benji for her own self gain and banned her from the show (both in appearance and even in any discussion). Elisa dropped Benji, moved to LA, and has been desperately trying to build her own podcast/streaming channel with her "Kermit and Friends" brand but it has been failing miserably (because the content is trash). Andy D---, with his extreme problems of substance abuse and own manipulative behavior latched onto Elisa and the two have been feeding on one another ever since. He likes the "fake" love and adoration that she gives him and she likes the drama that she can exploit for her show. Elisa says she was in love with Andy but ANYONE in LA can tell you, Andy is about as straight as a shoe string. She loves his self-destructing behavior because she is a narcissist and narcissists attract other narcissists which leads us to "wappy flanker". There's less public information about wappy but at a surface level he is an aspiring musician that like Elisa has very little talent and has been around the F-Ilist YouTube/streamer crowds for a while. He has built some minor networks and connections of people who once again look for s--- content to generate fake internet drama as a way to exploit their viewers into buying merchandise and handing over $5 donations. I don't watch Kermit and Friends to know how deep his relationship is with Elisa but he has definitely appeared on her show for a long time as a recurring caller as these types of streamers rely on one another to signal boost their content and fans. Andy has also fallen into this as well as a frequent guest and caller into her show. Andy was going to Las Vegas for a drug fueled bender and knew wappy lived out in Las Vegas. During his trip he was assaulted and beat up by a random off the strip and was "abandoned" by the people who he drove from LA with. I use quotations because the speculation is now that wappy or Elisa could have preplanned the situation as a means to create "content drama" or it actually happened and either way Elisa and wappy found another way to exploit Andy for more money and more content now with "Andy's antics... in Las Vegas!" With Andy being homeless, no family/friend support structure, and no income on his own he's at a point of desperation and "going along with the ride" because he seeks out enablers and people he can abuse/exploit and for those who abuse/exploit him. The gun brandishing, the "aggressive" anger and abuse that wappy is doing is all fake as a means to drive engagement and "streamer drama". I'm not saying the guy isn't a lunatic but as mentioned before these people are all delusional Hollywood wannabes (Andy included but hell, at least the guy has had a pretty damn successful career at one point) who define the word "grifter". They aren't interested in traditional jobs because their too self-entitled and lazy to do one any way and so out of touch with reality that they think Hollywood is interested in hiring a 40 year old woman who peaked in high school. Andy could walk out of that house today and there would be no risk to his personal safety. He chooses not to because he has no other alternatives and would rather live in a trap house with terrible people if it means someone delivers him a daily bottle of vodka and the occasional rare steak or beef tartar. Sadly that bottle of vodka continues to be more important to him than his 3 kids which surprisingly seem like some genuinely nice and normal individuals. I hope Andy gets help and survives his substance abuse, but it is becoming less and less likely. The Andy D--- Show, Road Trip, Old School, News Radio, In The Army Now, Dude Where's my Car, Employee of the Month, etc. are all such classics and his humor and style is unrivaled and unique in so many ways.
