Overview
The CJ Daisy and Walter Weekes Pregnancy Controversy refers to controversy surrounding a series of leaked text messages and a phone conversation between CJ Daisy (aka DaisyFit_Chen) and manosphere podcast host Walter Weekes (aka Fresh of Fresh & Fit) in which Daisy tells Weekes he got her pregnant and he insists she gets an abortion. Daisy leaked the communications between the two, in which she refuses to get an abortion and attempts to get Weekes to support her and the baby, on her now-deleted Instagram page in early April 2024. The leaks inspired discourse and criticism towards Weekes online, who has previously criticized women for never taking accountability and spoken on the importance of strong fathers. Weekes and his Fresh & Fit co-host responded to the allegations days later, suggesting Daisy could be faking the pregnancy. In later April, Daisy announced that she would not be keeping the baby.
Background
On April 3rd, 2024, CJ Daisy, aka DaisyFit_Chen on Instagram, who was Miss Asia 2023, leaked a series of DMs between herself and Walter Weekes, aka "Fresh" from Fresh & Fit, exposing him for trying to get her to have an abortion against her wishes after revealing to him that she was pregnant.
The messages reveal that the two were in a relationship and Weekes was having unprotected sex with multiple other women without her knowledge, with Weekes writing that he wants to get them all tested. Daisy shows a blood test as proof of her pregnancy. Weekes insists that he doesn't want to be a father and tells her to take an abortion pill, which she refuses, writing that she doesn't want to "kill the baby." He also claims he's too broke financially to support a child.
Daisy also shared a statement written in her Notes app detailing their relationship. She writes that they met in November 2023 in Miami and on New Year's Day he asked her to be in a committed relationship, asking her not to be with other men. He then invited her to meet his mom, which she did. On January 8th, 2024, she left from Miami for her home in China to celebrate Chinese New Year. The night before she left, she and Weekes had a conversation where he claimed he saw her as someone he could spend his life with. She planned to move in with him in Miami and traveled to Barbados to meet his family.
She writes that she had unprotected sex with Weekes because she thought they were in a serious relationship and that she previously told him if she got pregnant she would keep the baby. On March 12th, 2024, she traveled to Miami with him. She admits they understood he is "not a monogamous person," so she wanted him to help her find her own apartment. Instead, he insisted on wanting to buy a house. She writes that he "pretended to be a high value man to date girls then ditch them."
She writes that she found out he was cheating and a player and that he asked her to move out a few days after she arrived in Miami and she couldn't get in contact with him. She went back to China and on March 30th, found out she was pregnant with his baby. She writes that Weekes didn't want to talk about it in person, told her to take a pill and warned other women about him.
CJ Daisy has since deleted her Instagram page, but the messages were shared on the /r/Destiny[1] subreddit that day, garnering over 2,200 upvotes in two days (shown below, click to expand).
Developments
Leaked Phone Call
On April 4th, 2024, a phone call between Weekes and Daisy started spreading online, presumably also shared by Daisy before she deleted her Instagram account. The phone call features similar talking points as the DMs, with Daisy insisting she doesn't want to "kill the baby" due to her religion and Weekes saying he wants an abortion (shown below). She says that "God wants you to have the baby" and he says "definitely not." The call was posted by X[2] user @_m0udii that day, garnering over 1,000 likes in a day (shown below).

Fresh and Fit's Response
On April 5th, 2024, Weekes and his co-host, Myron Gaines, aka "Fit," responded to the allegations during an episode of the Fresh & Fit podcast hosted on YouTube[9] and Rumble.[10] During the first half of the episode, they discuss the allegations with their lawyer James Sexton, who tells them to add the phrase "no comment" to their vocabulary, claims it is a felony to record a conversation and post it without consent, as CJ Daisy did and goes over common "tactics used by women to manipulate men."
They suggest the pregnancy claims could be fake and that she's mad that Weekes didn't want to get an apartment with her, with Gaines claiming he also went through a "fake pregnancy" scandal in the past. The lawyer also insists that a woman making fake pregnancy allegations against a man is a "sign of success" for the man. Throughout the episode, Gaines and Weekes refer to Daisy as a 304. Fresh and Fit also say they're not religious as a response to Daisy claiming her religion is a reason she doesn't want to get an abortion. The video gained over 200,000 views in three days.
Aba and Preach Interview With CJ Daisy
On April 6th, 2024, YouTubers[11] Aba N Preach posted their second video about the allegations, this time interviewing CJ Daisy to get her full perspective on the situation. Before the interview, they begin by playing clips of Weekes denying that Daisy was his girlfriend, contrasted with clips of Weekes telling her he loves her and calling her his girlfriend.
During the interview, the YouTubers ask Daisy why she wanted to have a kid or get married so soon after they were in a relationship and she responds that time doesn't matter to her if she belives the relationship is committed. Preach finds the answer "weird" while Aba is more understanding of it. They ask Daisy what she would do if Weekes said he didn't want a baby and she says "he can always pull out." She then claims Weekes said they should get a house together "in case she gets pregnant," the two agreeing that this likely means she wasn't "baby trapping" Weekes.
Daisy claims that Weekes knew she was against abortion and that, while he didn't say it directly, his actions suggested he would raise the baby with her if she got pregnant. They push on why she didn't get verbal confirmation of this and she insists the relationship seemed serious enough that she didn't feel she needed that confirmation. Aba finds some fault with this, claiming they should have had that conversation. Daisy shows an ultrasound for further proof that she is pregnant.
Daisy says she's exposing Weekes now because she "hates him" for not being a man and taking responsibility for his child. She says she told Weekes about the pregnancy immediately and calls Weekes "uneducated" and "an idiot" over a viral clip where he asks "who decided that 2+2=4." She claims she's had DMs from men telling her they want to be the stepdad of her and Weekes' child.
Aba concludes that Daisy is not baby-trapping and that she is communicating and Weekes is not. He claims Weekes is being inconsistent in his communication, which is why she thought the relationship was more serious than it may have been. The video gained over 782,000 views in two days.
Fresh & Fit's Response to Aba N Preach, Aba N Preach's Second Response
On April 8th, 2024, Fit of Fresh & Fit hosted a solo stream on the Fresh&Fit YouTube[13] channel where he responds to Aba N Preach's video, attempting to expose Daisy and her alleged character. In the video, Fit begins by admitting that Fresh is an "idiot" and he warned him about Daisy. He then goes over the alleged timeline of their relationship and goes on to accuse Daisy of being a sex worker, which she has previously denied. Fit shows a video from an anonymous source allegedly showing her working as an escort, discussing payment with a purported client.
Fit then shows translated documents of a Chinese news report that purports that Daisy stole money from a client, followed by a document purporting that she was fired from a previous job for fraud and theft. Fit then reacts to the call between Daisy and Fresh, criticizes Aba and Preach and again implies she may be lying about being pregnant. The video gained over 220,000 views in two days (shown below).
On April 10th, Aba N Preach posted a response to the video to YouTube.[14] They begin by showing a clip from a previous Fresh & Fit video where Fresh admits to convincing a different girl to get an abortion. They also claim that, despite Daisy's character (potentially being a sex worker) it doesn't matter and doesn't change the situation, suggesting Fresh and Fit are using this tactic to obscure the situation.
They also claim the video of Daisy allegedly working as an escort, along with the police report, isn't good evidence, because her face isn't shown in the video and the documents are in Chinese and unverified. The video gained over 448,000 views in under a day (shown below).
Daisy's Announcement on "Duke the Don" Video
On April 28th, 2024, Daisy appeared on YouTuber[15] Duke the Don's channel to announce that she would not be able to keep the baby, citing how she doesn't want to be a single mother and is tired of all the backlash towards her. She explains that she grew up in a single parent family and that it was "horrible" and she was bullied for it.
