The Dennis Green Rant is a meltdown by Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green in his postgame press conference after blowing a 20-point lead in the second half to the Chicago Bears in one of the greatest comebacks of all-time.^[1][2]

Origin
In the game in Arizona, on Monday Night Football, the Cardinals led a dominating lead 20-0 heading into halftime, with the Cardinals' stingy defense intercepting Bears quarterback Rex Grossman 4 times and forcing him to fumble twice. Despite this issue, the Bears were able to start a comeback with the defense forcing fumbles on Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart twice, and the Bears taking the ball for a touchdown, and ended the third quarter with the score at 23-10. Bears rookie Devin Hester eventually took the game-winning touchdown all the way, and Cardinals kicker Neil Rackers missed the game-winning field goal.

"The Bears are what we thought they were. They're what we thought they were. We played them in preseason -- who the hell takes a third game of the preseason like it's bullshit? Bullshit! We played them in the third game -- everybody played three quarters -- the Bears are who we thought they were! That's why we took the damn field. Now if you want to crown them, then crown their ass!
