Overview
Jeffree Star's NFL Player Boyfriend refers to speculation and memes about which NFL player Jeffree Star is purportedly dating after the influencer posted several photos to social media claiming that he's dating an anonymous 6'6" pro-football player. The posts were made in January 2023 and inspired people online to try and determine who the man was by examining Star's posts. In February 2023, the player was revealed to be Tennesee Titans player Taylor Lewan.
Background
On January 27th, 2023, @JeffreeStar posted a photo to Twitter[1] of himself holding hands with an anonymous person on a jet, writing, "Goodbye LA, time to spend time with my #NFL boo in Wyoming 🏈," garnering over 39,300 likes in six days (shown below). The photo spread online that day and sparked speculation as to who Star could be dating.[2] On January 28th, Twitter[3] user @FootballGirlAna posted a thread of comments under the post trying to determine the player based on the small amount of him shown in the photo, hypothesizing that he plays a skill position and trying to determine his measurements.
Developments
On January 30th, 2023, Jeffree Star posted a selfie to Twitter[4] with the alleged NFL player, although he is turned away from the camera. Star writes in the post, "His team didn’t make it to the #SuperBowl but he’s 6’6 and plays perfect in the bedroom 🧡," garnering over 31,000 likes in three days. Notably, there is a gun with a silencer attached on the countertop in the photo.
On January 31st, @jeffreestar posted a video to TikTok[5] of the same angle that the photo was taken, garnering over 7.4 million likes in two days. On the same day, he tweeted[6] a screenshot of a DM from Saryn Anderson, wife of Carolina Panthers player Henry Anderson, asking him to stop because she's being harassed, writing, "OMG now the #NFL wives are coming after me!!! Girl… Don’t be so insecure. I don’t mess with married men 😘," garnering over 58,000 likes in two days (shown below).
On February 1st, 2023, he retweeted[7] a video of Tom Brady announcing his retirement, writing that he did not cause it, garnering over 15,000 likes in a day (shown below).

On the same day, Star posted another photo to Twitter[8] writing "Throat Goat 🐐" with a man's belly in the background, assumed to be the purported NFL player, garnering over 20,000 likes in a day (shown below).
Online Reactions
Jeffree Star's posts inspired speculation and reactions across social media about who in the NFL Star could be dating, as well as numerous memes. On January 30th, 2023, Twitter[9] user @loganteeeverill posted a list of supposedly all 43 white 6'6" men with short hair in the NFL that did not make it to the Super Bowl (shown below).
On February 1st, TikToker[10] @ohshiitmariah posted a video hypothesizing that Star is dating Carl Nassib, an openly gay linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, garnering over 753,000 views in a day (shown below, left). On the same day, TikToker[11] @ktkenski, the girlfriend of LA Rams lineman Max Pircher, posted a video where she jokingly tries to determine if Pircher is dating Star, garnering over 1.9 million views in a day (shown below, right).

On February 11th, 2023, Tennessee Titans football tackle Taylor Lewan took to his Twitter[12] account to post photos of him and Jeffree Star, alongside a caption that read, "What a day, shout out to my completely new demographic. This is a ride or die account. Welcome soldiers 🫡." The post gathered over 13,000 likes in two days (seen below).

The post was criticized by other Twitter users who deemed Lewan's gun safety etiquette to be lacking. Twitter[13] user @BrettKollmann posted one such tweet, gathering over 5,000 likes in two days (seen below).
