Overview

Maxine Waters' Trump Protest Controversy refers to statements made by Democratic Representative Maxine Waters encouraging United States citizens to protest members of the Trump administration wherever they are seen.

Background

On June 23rd, 2018, Waters spoke at an anti-Trump rally held outside of the Wilshire Federal Building in Los Angeles, California, where is she encouraged the audience to protest Trump administration officials in reference to a recent incident in which Sarah Huckabee Sanders was forced to leave a Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia (shown below). Additionally, Waters condemned the controversial practice of separating children from their parents at the border between the United States and Mexico.

"Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere. We've got to get the children connected to their parents."

Maxine Waters is a useful idiot who doesn't know when to stop running her mouth. She willingly voices the true nature within the growing fringe branch of the democratic party, which at this time is excessively ideologically puritanical and intellectually dishonest to the point where double standards are a tool they eagerly embrace if it furthers their false narratives. To them, disagreeing with someone politically means you are justified to treat them with zero respect as a human being.

They are dragging their fellow democrats down into the sewer at a time when the main criticism of Trump was that he isn't fostering an environment that espouses civil discourse. I hope she does get censured. Although I'm not expecting it to actually happen.
