Overview

Motaz Azaiza Facebook Ban Controversy refers to the purported suspension of Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza's Facebook account and a controversial tweet he made that some netizens thought criticized the Palestinian resistance in March 2024. As of March 18th, 2024, Motaz's Facebook account has since been unsuspended.

It's just so weird that saying "fuck the israeli government for wanting to wipe us out, BUT ALSO fuck Hamas for using us civilians as meat shields" is apparently super controversial and inflammatory instead of, you know, the most milquetoast take possible.
