Overview

TNickelss Grooming Allegations refers to March 2024 allegations levied against Twitch streamer and YouTuber TNickelss, who was accused of being a groomer after alleged inappropriate Discord messages were leaked between him and a 17-year-old nicknamed B. The accusations spread online over the following days as the controversy generated discussions on social media.

Background

On March 16th, 2024, X^[1] user @haruncom8 tweeted four pieces of media (originally shared on Discord) that showed alleged evidence of TNickelss sending inappropriate messages to a 17-year-old minor nicknamed B. According to @haruncom8 and others on X,^[2] TNickelss purportedly deleted the server where the photos, videos and screenshots were posted. @haruncom8's post received over 1,100 likes in three days (shown below).

TNickelss Response

Later on March 16th, 2024, TNickelss posted to X,^[3] saying, "Addressing The Situation, Sorry To B and anyone that I put in a weird spot." TNickelss included a link to a powerpoint/slideshow on Google Slides^[4] called "Response" in which he provided more screenshots of messages with B. Overall, TNickelss attempted to prove that his relationship with B was mutual and that they were both above the age of consent in their states.

I wanted to address some recent talk on social media about my interactions with a certain person. It's important to me that I clear things up and give you my side of the story. First things first: I want to be absolutely clear that I've never been involved in any kind of grooming behavior. When B and I were chatting, we were both above the age of consent in our states. Things started off okay, but I felt it was necessary to draw some lines later on. Unfortunately, some screenshots have been taken out of context, making things seem worse than they actually were. I am NOT blaming B for anything just making that clear. As we talked I made sure that I would respect boundaries, If anything wasn't reciprocated back or I was told otherwise then I would stop. As you read the rest I hope that you read everything and form your own opinions.

TNickelss posted another tweet^[5] later on March 16th, 2024, that received over 1,700 likes in three days (shown below).

Numerous viral reactions surfaced regarding the allegations. For instance, on March 16th, 2024, TikToker^[6] @lilbl_ckie posted a meme about them looking in the mirror after finding out about the allegations, gaining over 392,500 plays and 50,900 likes in three days (shown below, left).

On March 18th, fellow Twitch streamer Yusuf7n posted a reaction clip to TikTok^[7] in which he was listening to an account of B's allegations. Yusuf7n portrayed shock and disappointment in the video, receiving over 780,500 plays and 143,600 likes in a day (shown below, right).

On March 17th, 2024, TNickelss posted a seven-minute-long response video to YouTube^[10] that received over 232,000 views and 9,100 likes in two days (shown below).

TNickelss tried to clarify the details of his messages with B. For instance, he said that many of his texts about her graduating and her graduation were about her graduating from a nursing college where she was enrolled. Similarly, he claimed that his messages about flying her out were also concerning her college degree.
