Evil Woody, also known as Cursed Woody Sings A Song or Shut Up Buzz, I'll Kill You, refers to a viral video and rap song centering on an evil version of Woody from Toy Story telling characters like Buzz Lightyear, Slink and Bo Peep "Shut up, I'm gonna kill you." The original video was called "Cursed Woody Sings A Song" and it was posted to YouTube in October 2023. Going into late 2023, the video became a meme on TikTok and Twitter / X, related to Meme Rap and Satirical Hip-Hop. Many made remixes of the song, inserting different characters from TV, movies, anime and video games, among other subcultures.

On October 22nd, 2023, YouTuber^[1] Aaron Fraser-Nash shared a video called "Cursed Woody Sings A Song." Over one month, the video received roughly 350,300 views and 14,000 likes (shown below). On the same day, the YouTuber posted a shortened version to his TikTok^[2] account @singsasongscary, gaining over 578,100 plays and 57,400 likes in one month.

Soon after, YouTubers started sharing variations of the Evil Woody rap with different characters. For instance, on November 6th, 2023, YouTuber^[8] Pouria's Extras posted a Five Nights at Freddy's iteration, gaining roughly 105,900 views and 8,600 likes in three weeks (shown below).

Memes also persisted on TikTok in November 2023, such as a remix of the song posted by TikToker^[5] @killercohenj on November 11th, 2023, which received roughly 77,000 plays and 1,900 likes in 16 days (shown below, left).

On November 23rd, 2023, TikToker^[6] @milpthedude posted a video that referenced the Just a Glimpse Into My Dark Reality snowclone, gaining over 36,800 plays and 4,400 likes in four days (shown below, right).
