Fake Plane Challenge is a series of TikTok parody videos in which people use various household items to mimic a plane window to make it look like they are flying.

Origin

Although the earliest iteration of the Fake Plane Challenge is unknown, an early version of the challenge was posted by 20AMIRO and supplied the original sound for over 300 more Fake Airplane Challenge clips (shown below).

Spread

On February 13th, 2019, China Global TV Network^[1] shared a video compilation of the challenge to Facebook (shown below). The video has received over 31,000 views in two days.

On February 13th, The Daily Mail UK reported on the challenge and Hindustan Times followed on February 15th.^[2][3]
