Fakecel is an incel slang term used to describe a person who pretends to be or sees themselves as an incel, but cannot be considered a true incel due to having relationships and sexual success in the past. Truecel is a slang term used to describe an incel who is involuntarily celibate in the true sense of its world due to unchangeable characteristics or physical features. Both terms have been popularized outside of the incelosphere and used in memes, often being juxtaposed.
