Fancy Pants is an original flash game created by developer Borne Games. It was published on March 14th 2006. In the game, you are a stick figure with orange pants and funky hair. You go around worlds doing crazy quests like trying to get your ice-cream back. You also fight many wacky bosses. The game was played by many during their childhood
Origin
Instagram user @bepis.man posted a video showing nostalgic flash games and how adobe flash was going to be discontinued in 2020. (shown below). The post gained over 600,000 views and 70,000 likes in a few weeks. Fancy Pants was the first flash game shown in the video.

Fancy Pants is a nostalgic game for most people, so the game related to them on a spiritual level. Other users started to create their own edits of Fancy Pants. User @CursedEdits4U posted a fancy pants meme that gained over 50,000 views in a month. (shown below). The edit shows Fancy Pants about to open a door, when big bird busts through it.
