About

GG No Heals is a gaming catchphrase typically used in hero shooter games like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals when other teammates accuse a support player of not healing the characters during the match. The phrase uses the slang GG (good game) and started to be used online in November 2022 as it was popularized among Rivals players in early January 2025 as a way to mock duelist players blaming others for their lack of skill.

Origin

On November 13th, 2022, an unknown Redditor[1] uploaded a screenshot of an Overwatch match status to the /r/Overwatch subreddit, writing, "Support diff be like. gg no heals." The image also highlights the amount of healing both support players did during the game (seen below), which amassed more than 910 upvotes and 150 comments in three years.
