About

Girl Interrupting Apple Dance Video refers to a viral video of TikToker Kelly Heyer, the creator of the Apple Dance, dancing to "Apple" at a New York City Charli XCX brat concert, a part of the Sweat Tour, in September 2024, during which she's interrupted by a fan who dances along with her unprompted. The video was originally posted to TikTok by Heyer and was quickly reposted to Twitter / X by user senorita awesome (@qxytocin), who criticized the fan, saying, "I really hope that girl knew her because why would you interrupt her moment like that…" Viral discourse ensued on X about the video, much of which turned toxic as people fat-shamed the girl and mocked her. Many tried to justify the girl's interruption, speculating that she was likely intoxicated. Overall, many thought the other girl was cringe.
