Girls Pocket vs. Boys Pocket is a side-by-side meme template illustrating the differences between the small load of what can fit inside of a girl's pocket to the comparatively larger amount of things that can fit inside of a boy's pocket.
Origin
On May 10th, 2021, Reddit user Jkrambi uploaded to /r/meme[1] an image comparing girls' and boys' pockets, with the girl's pocket showing only half a phone and the boy's having a phone, wallet, Walmart, and hippopotamus labeled "your mom." The post received more than 11,900 points in one week (shown below).

Later on May 10th 2021, Reddit user Symphl uploaded an example of the meme to /r/teenagers,[2] receiving more than 33,000 points in one week (shown below).
Over the following several days, the template began growing popular in other subreddits. For example, on May 11th, 2021, Reddit user NiceLapis uploaded a Star Wars example to /r/PrequelMemes,[3] receiving more 20,800 points (shown below, left). On the same day, Reddit user 8_DARK_BORK_8 uploaded a variation adding "Girl's handbag" to /r/dankmemes,[4] gaining more than 22,100 points (shown below, right).
