About
Good Morning Julia refers to videos a man sent to a woman named Julia he apparently barely knew that went viral after internet users found it creepy, much like they did with My Video For Briona.
Origin
On November 30th, 2017, YouTube user Avery McGinnis uploaded a video titled "Good Morning Julia," in which a man named Joe professes that the brief moment he had with Julia the day prior was "the greatest day of my life." The video gained over 7,400 views. In the description for the video, McGinnis wrote, "After a drunken night out with friends, my sister woke up to this video from some guy she met.."
Spread
On December 4th, 2017, Twitter user @whlsmcathlic420[1] reposted the video to Twitter, saying that "Julia" was her roommate's cousin, giving similar context as McGinnis gave in her YouTube upload. The tweet gained over 12,000 retweets and 53,000 likes (shown below).

After the video began going viral on Twitter, Twitter user @skeysss[2] corrected the story, saying that Julia was her roommate and that her and Joe had met at the gym, not the bar (shown below). Another rumor that Joe was Julia's Uber driver was also incorrect. [5]
![Julia's Roommate #saransconfused @skeysss Follow Replying to @whlsmcathlic420 @papafeuring Julia's my roommate!!! They met for literally 5 minutes at the gym not at a bar which makes this video even more funny and creepy. @skeysss later clarified clarified that the video was initially sent on December 16th, 2015[3] and then proved context for what happened between Joe and Julia (shown below).[4]
Julia’s gym requires you to sign your name before going tanning. Joe saw her going to sign in, he then looked at her name when she went into the tanning room. On the way out, he followed her out yelling Julia wait! She stopped thinking she may know him. He then started hitting on her, and Julia explained she was attempting to get back with her ex. Joe then called himself from her phone and the next morning he sent the video. They never dated/never have seen each other since that day. No Uber story, no bar story.
Additionally, @skeysss provided another video Joe sent to Julia (shown below).
The story was covered by The Daily Dot.[6]
