Guweehahaeegee is a meme originating from a large section of the SoundCloud community titled the "Undertale AU (Alternate Universe) Community." It was formed when user LoleegeeIII posted an AU track by the name of "[Spongeswap] – Guweehahaeegee! + Oceanquarrel" in late February. Guweehahaeegee is a term poorly transcribed from the laughing sound that Patrick Star emits in the Spongebob Squarepants episode where Patrick's "parents" come to visit him. In this particular scene, Spongebob purposefully headbutts his home in front of Patrick's parents, aiming to appear mildly dumb. Having noticed his parents buying Spongebob's act, that's when he makes the noise known as "Guweehahaeegee!" SoundCloud user SerpentSnivy | Shad took notice of the mediocre track, commented on it, "Guweehahaeegee!" and liked and reposted, for all of his followers to see. And surprisingly, the joke caught on. Shad had also proceeded to log on to his shitposting alt, LiIvaNunner. On there, he posted a track by the title of "[Spongeswap] Guweehahaeegee! (My Take)," claiming it to be his own take on the song, when in reality, it was just a ten-minute loop of Patrick yelling the phrase, "Guweehahaeegee!" earraped. From then on, users on SoundCloud have been using this word commonly and putting it in the tags of their Undertale AU tracks relating to Patrick Star. Once Loleegee had taken notice of this becoming a meme, he was not angered, but he embraced it by updating the track multiple times. Many adored this misspelled masterpiece.
