On March 30th, 2021, TikTok[1] user @trevorjohnstoo uploaded a duet video of himself looking at an item that looks like a portable brush for a dog. Then, he takes out his credit card and slams it down. The video received more than 9.1 million views in one year (shown below).

Starting in April 2021, many TikTok users began using @trevorjohnstoo's cropped video as a reaction meme. For example, on April 5th, 2021, TikTok[2] user @nflpro_nyg uploaded an edit that received more than 127,000 views in one year (shown below, left). On June 3rd, 2021, TikTok[3] user @_futbolwrld2 uploaded a cropped version of the video that received more than 258,000 views in seven months (shown below, right).
