On November 26th, 2024, Twitter / X^[1] user @dEi_pft uploaded a transparent PNG drawing of a hand reaching out with the palm facing upwards, seemingly as though it were holding someone's chin. The caption roughly translates to, "Use this material to tickle your chin," with the post gathering over 174,000 likes in one week (shown below).

Spread

Starting in late November 2024, the drawing gained popular on Twitter / X where people included it in their fan arts and edits. On November 26th, 2024, Twitter / X^[2] user @tokotoko4000 uploaded an video compiling several of @dEi_pft's transparent PNG hands to touch Rem from Re:Zero. The post received more than 26,000 likes in one week (shown below).

On November 27th, 2024, YouTuber SephirothSword57 uploaded of edit of his chin getting touched by the hand to his X^[3] account. The post received more than 29,000 likes in one week (shown below).

The next day on November 28th, Twitter / X^[4] user @FeintHeart721 uploaded fan art of character female Trailblazer, Stelle from Honkai Star Rail, with the hand touching her chin. The post received more than 24,000 likes in five days (shown below).
