In Spring of 2020, the series was published on YouTube, spawning many memes in Germany, including those involving Harald Krull, who claimed to have gone to Harvard and to be a sea captain with seafaring licenses A, B, C and 6.

Since then, Harald Krull has been worked into image macros and YouTube comments.
