I Heard You a Pedophile Nigga, I Heard You Like Little Boys and Girls Nigga is a reaction image of Dragon Ball character Gogeta staring menacingly, captioned with a catchphrase comprised of a threatening message that he heard rumors that the one the image is a pedophile. The image has been used in online conversation as a reaction to users who have reportedly been involved in sexual harassment against minors, with the meme also being used as a phrasal template in recaption variations.
Origin
While the exact origin of the image is currently unconfirmed, it was first posted online prior to November 4th, 2022, with the likely origin being an unknown Discord server. The image, which depicts Dragon Ball character Gogeta with a menacing smirk and is captioned, "I heard you a pedophile nigga I heard you loke little boys and girls nigga" has been used to react to people who are suspected of being attracted to minors or lolicon and sexual harassment of minors, such as YouTuber EDP445 (original image and use example shown below, left and right).[1][2]
Spread
The earliest found edit of the image, a humorously cropped version, was posted by Twitter[3] gimmick account @CroppedDBMemes on November 4th, 2022 (shown below, left). On November 18th, Twitter[4] user @J_RD_C reposted a version of the image used to retort against the first one featuring Vegito. The post (shown below, right) received nine retweets and over 170 likes in eight months.
More versions of the reaction featuring Dragon Ball and other characters were posted and shared online starting in late November 2022. For example, on November 29th, 2022, Twitter[5] user @ayoItzGifted posted a Goku version of the meme that received over 410 likes in eight months (shown below, left). On January 4th, 2023, Twitter[6] user @SolidSpidersona posted a Sonic the Hedgehog version that received over 10 retweets and 260 likes in seven months (shown below, right).
The reaction image maintained its online popularity through the first half of 2023, spawning memes that altered the original caption in various ways.
